Faculty Introduction
Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Health Sciences was established after the Tokat School of Health, which was established in 1996, was closed in 2016 and transformed into the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Our faculty is located in Taşlıçiftlik Campus in the city center and moved to its new building of 11,711 square meters in 2019.
In the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Health Sciences, education is provided in the Departments of Midwifery, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Emergency Aid and Disaster Management. There is a postgraduate education in the Midwifery, Nursing and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments, and a bachelor's degree completion program in the Nursing department.
A total of 70 faculty members work in our faculty, including 3 Professors, 10 Associate Professors, 33 Doctoral Lecturers, 6 Lecturers and 18 Research Assistants.
More than 2000 students are enrolled in undergraduate programs at our faculty.
Within the scope of Student Exchange Programs (Erasmus, Farabi, Mevlana), our students can receive education at the university they choose among the domestic and international universities with which our university has an agreement, in accordance with the conditions of the program.
The language of instruction in our faculty is Turkish and the duration of education is 4 years for all programs. In order to graduate from our undergraduate programs, a compulsory and elective course load of 240 ECTS must be successfully completed.
There are 16 classrooms and 8 laboratories in our faculty.
