Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Health Sciences, High School of Health, dated May 23, 1995 and numbered 185/1, dated November 2, 1996 and numbered 22805 numbered Official Gazette No. 96/8655 by the Council of Ministers established by the decision of the Council of Ministers Tokat Health School 2016 / It was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 8562 and turned into a Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Faculty of Health Sciences is located at the Taşlıçiftlik Campus of our university and is located in the city center. Our faculty is currently in a joint building with the School of Physical Education and Sports.

The building project of the Faculty of Health Sciences of 11.711 m2 has been completed and construction has started in 2015.

Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Health Sciences Acting Dean Prof. Hacı Ömer ATEŞ, Vice-Deans Asst. Prof. Ayla GÜNAL and Asst. Prof. Aygül KISSAL, Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department Dr. Funda Demirtürk, Head of Midwifery Department   Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür ALPARSLAN,  Head of Nursing Department Medine KOÇ, along with 12  Assistant Professor, faculty members, 5 teaching assistant, 5 research assistants, including 28 teaching staff are continuing education.

In the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the students of the Department of Midwifery, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and Nursing are given education and midwifery department accepts graduate students. Our faculty started nursing department in the department of midwifery in 1997-1998. In 2018- 2019, he started to take students to physiotherapy and rahabilitation department. 2018-2019 Education – Starting from the academic year, students have been recruited to the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

In the distance education undergraduate program, students are admitted to nursing and midwifery department. Erasmus student can continue their education in 3-12 months abroad with student mobility. Internship mobility can also be done abroad. In short, the "Farabi Exchange Program" among students of the Higher Education Institutions and the University Exchange Program with the exchange students can continue their education in a domestic university for two semesters.

In our faculty, in 2017-2018 education year, a total of 818 students, 496 nursing departments and 322 midwives, were trained.

In our faculty there are 9 classrooms, 1 amphitheater and a skill lab, a labor lab, MCH lab and a first aid laboratory to improve the students' practice skills.

The faculty building in the campus is expected to end in July 2019.
